1993 Roederer Estate L'Ermitage Brut

1993 Roederer Estate L'Ermitage Brut - USA, California, North Coast, Anderson Valley (1/20/2009)
Very fine and plentiful bubbles. Nose of butter, nuts, and bread crust. Integrated and showing age, but not dead by any means. A hint of lemongrass and verbena on the palate, with bread crumbs and brioche. I would drink up soon, however. This wine begs for food. I have one bottle left and it should be gone within the next few months.

Nice avatar. I'm sorry, what wine were you drinking? Cool

I love the Roederer Hermy - if it were $30- Id be even more enthusiastic.

local wine shop. I was shocked at that price. Recent releases seem to be around the $40 range. Good, but I can get NV champagne for that.

Now at $15-20, the NV is enjoyable.

For the money...I think the N.V. is an amazing wine. Costco usually has it for around $17...that's a no brainer purchase for me!
