All I got was the postcard saying I get nothing again this year. That's what happens when you get to the game late like I did...

I don't think Jamie makes that much wine. Maybe a few hundred cases? Correct me if I'm wrong.
Re: Kutch Mailer.....who's buyin?
dont recall the exact numbers but they were between 75 for some and 250 for the RRV I believe
I drank an 06 RRV tonight, it was classic RRV, cola and orange peel almost, was starting to blossom after a couple hours of being opened. just really well done

Here's the '07 Breakdown:
Sonoma Coast: 250 Cases
Kanzler: 200 Cases
McDougall Ranch: 150 Cases
He's also done some Mags like last year of each.
No RRV appellation wine this year.

FWIW here are my notes on barrel samples of 2 of these wines (taken at the end of an evening of good Barolo, 10/25/08 ):
2007 Kutch Pinot Noir Kanzler Vyd.
Nose of grenadine and kirsch is stunning. I thought it was a mistake to taste these after all these terrific Barolos, but this is great stuff. The sweet fruit shows really well after all that tannin, but it sure doesn’t lack for complexity. Ringing finish. Great fruit. At least 93 points.
2007 Kutch Pinot Noir McDougall Vyd.
Dry spice and cherry in the nose. Sweet cherry in the mouth. The fruit is almost too intense in the superlong finish. Great stuff. Certainly Jamie’s best so far. 94 points.
Needless to say, I am all in. (As soon as my mailer gets here!)

Got the "rejected" post card (WTF, I thought I signed up way early). Hey If someone wants to share or sell me a few, let me know. I would at least like to try one of these puppies. Make the HSS list but not the Kutch list

There is at least one person on another board that shall remain nameless that wants to sell his allocation
I really enjoyed the 06 RRV I had last night, looking forward to seeing how it does on night 2

I don't want to cause an MI for you Bob, but I just ordered my full allocation of Carlisle.

You don't mean 26 bottles of Kutch, right?Bill Tex Landreth wrote:26 bottles worth, plus I wish listed three bottles of everything.

He meant Carlisle...on the 26
On another note, I finished the bottle of RRV last night, IMO was better the second evening

Re: Kutch Mailer.....who's buyin?
I faxed in my order and got a very nice email from Jamie thanking me. I appreciate when wineries confirm receipt of faxed in orders (like Carlisle) since I have had issues in the past on occasion with getting shut out of wines that I ordered via fax but somehow my forms never were received.

Do you REALLY want on?
Re: Kutch Mailer.....who's buyin?
I can't swing this one. Going to have to pass. It was Rivers Marie or Kutch - I went RM.
