Much better than my last bottle, with olives, meat and raspberry fruit. Light to medium body for Hermitage, but tasty nonetheless. Went well with lamb lollipops.

I haven't had the 99, but recently had a 95 and I think these wines are great values. Even in bad vintages, I can't say any of them have been bad
